The crème de la crème of medieval music festival on the grounds of the Histotainment Park drumming in Osterburken gathered on 6 and 7 September 2008 to the second Miroque. This year, the program on 2 days was expanded to be able to offer an even wider range of medieval music fans.

9 bands from the fields of middle ages and medieval rock are on first September weekend at the Miroque Festival in the middle ages Park on the St. Mary's heights on the stage. With Haggard, Omnia, Rabenschrey, the sand bag, the strays, night cry, Triskilian, and Dunkelschön were music groups found that cover a wide range of historical music with influences from the Orient, the Irish folk and rock - and metal scene.

The performance of cantus Buranus Werk II, the sequel to the revision of the medieval Carmina Burana manuscript will highlight on Sunday. In this latest project of Corvus Corax even a Symphony Orchestra and a chorus of Opera will be the evening onstage.

In addition to high-profile artists, particular emphasis was placed on the historical atmosphere of the Festival. Otherwise as relevant open air festival was made extra for the Miroque Germany's largest portable truss stage events, which will give the correct part of the musical performances.
